So much better than the cone. Much more comfortable alternative and sufficient protection. I like that the snaps are on the back instead of on the belly (which is a problem if your cat was spayed). And the price point for its purpose is perfect. Make sure to measure! I did but still found these are cut weird on a cat. Also there is a tag on the outside which my kitten kept picking at and made hole through the cheap material with 0 effort. These suits are absolutely wonderful. What a lifesaver they were after my cats were spayed. I only wish I had bought them before the surgeries, so I could have put them on the cats right away. The cats came home with the standard neck cones which proved bulky and difficult to eat in. It was also hard to give meds with the cones on. These suits arrived quickly from Petsserect and instantly improved the cats' lives. I used the size chart to order, which overall worked out, but I would say to go with the smaller size if you're on the fence. The cats can sleep, walk around, eat, and use the litter box with the suits on. Using the litter box is easier with a more snug fit. The material is a really soft, stretchy cotton. I love this onesie!! Hands down so much better than a cone or anything around the neck. Fit is true to size, I bought a medium after measuring and comparing to the chart. BUY 2.... seriously. I just had to purchase another because this kitten is on crack and loves to chew on her super suit. The adjustable cord on the neck is great, so they can't slip out and the velcro on the back is tuff and won't budge.
