If you are in a Tizzy trying to figure out a solution to the dreaded cone this is your answer. We had two Kittens spayed and the cones really sucked. They were dragging them in the litterbox and couldn't eat. I would recommend using this suit in conjunction with the cones for about two days. This will ensure they will stay calm and not do to much in those first critical days. After that the suits keep them from picking at the surgical site but allows them to Eat and use the litterbox. I got this for my adult male cat who has Hyperesthesia Syndrome to protect his back and reduce chance of seizures. It does cover his back pretty well, and the thick Velcro actually protects it better than just the thin material would have. The material is very thin, I would prefer if it was thicker. Fit well, but after just a couple of weeks of use the stitching around one of the front leg holes came undone and now leaves a big hole. (See photos) I also bought a dog sweater at the same time, it does not stay on as well, but is thicker... they both have good and bad points, but the quality of this one did not please me and I am returning it.★★★★★★★★★By Julie
Worked well, fit my kitten comfortably. Helped him heal really well until he learned that the longer the licked it, the bigger the wet spot and the easier it was the lick himself through it. But with some supervision, it worked out. Sadly, the lil' guy grew out of it while I had it.
