Because of the Devon Rex, the Cornish Rex cats have very short hair, while the Sphinx hairless cats are completely hairless. When my 6 month old kitten was spayed, the vet gave her an e collar and she pulled it off in a split second. This is so amazing!She was so miserable in the cone for 3 days before this came I wish I had known about it before her spay. she needs to get used to walking in it but im sure that will come with time. She's much happier in the suit she was able to give herself a bath and she's just so happy. This is a must have. Just make sure you get the right size. Best replacement for an E collar!My cat had a major surgery on her abdomen which left 17 sutures that needed to stay in for 20 days before being removed. I knew my cat was going to go nuts if she had to wear the E collar the whole time. This suit is SO much more comfortable for her. I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't not tell the world how great this product is. This bodysuit was a lifesaver after our cat was spayed. She was so miserable with her cone, couldn't eat or use the litter box properly. The minute we put this bodysuit on her, she was happy again. Look at the picture to see how comfy and relaxed she is. It did take a day or so for her to get used to walking around in it, but she was otherwise very happy immediately after we put it on her. She is able to use her litterbox and eat her food with ease in this suit. So far she has not tried to get through the suit to her stitches, although we are keeping a close eye on her just in case. We are VERY happy with our purchase. It also doesn't hurt that it looks adorable on her!We ordered a size large, and it fits her well. She is an average size adult cat.We kept her cone on while we put her in the suit (she is pretty feisty at the best of times), back legs first, then front legs, then took the cone off and popped her head in and buttned her up.
