I only just put it on her this morning. It’s been about a week and a half and she’s been fine with only the cone but I caught her this morning with her cone bent back, licking her glue from incision. I immediately put it on and she let me but she doesn’t seem to like it. It may be a little too small for the legs part so I may need a larger size. I also feel if it is larger she’ll be able to wiggle out so I don’t know. She’s hissed at me twice and tried to bite me because she has it on, but at least she won’t get to lick her incision! Sizing on this is weird. My cat is 5 pounds and not very long. I took her measurements and it clearly recommended a small. When the small came in, it fit her very tight, almost looked too small for her. I know its for after surgery and meant to be tight, but this was almost too tight. The piece is sturdy material but this product is truly a one time use for me since if she got even half an inch longer she wouldnt fit. My kitten is 16" in length and I ordered the Medium. We are needing to use zip ties at the shoulders and hips to help it fit. I tried to take the hipe zip tie off, but she is then able to get it off.
