I bought this for my cat's recovery from spay surgery and it fit her perfectly. For the time she needed to wear it, it didn't impede her movement or cause any undue chafing. I didn't have a chance to actually clean it because, by the end of the 10 day mark, she was beginning to chew holes in it so I removed it and had to throw it away. My cat was so much more comfortable! She had surgery and when I brought her home she wore the cone for about 24 hours. She wasn't drinking, eating or sleeping much. I thought it was due to pain. However, as soon as I removed the cone, she allowed me to easily put on suit. Her personality changed. She ate, drank and slept comfortably. I have never written a review but I HAD to review this. My kitty kept over grooming her lower belly until it would bleed. I tried the donut a first, didn't feel safe leaving that on her home alone. I tried modifying a baby onsie, that cut into her arms so bad she couldn't move. Then this.. I would buy this ten times over. Shes still not a fan, but the material is stretchy so it moves with her, it is soft and doesn't cut into her, light weight so she doesn't get too hot, it is easy to put on with button snaps on the back, plenty of room for her to still pee and poo.
