This cat surgical suit is well made and seems very comfortable. I followed the sizing instruction and my male cat is 14lbs. and the large fit him perfectly. He is able to walk and go to the litterbox and not soil it. This was to me a life saver at a difficult time when you are trying to make your pet comfortable after abdominal surgery and his sutures safe from licking. First off this is a GREAT substitute for the cone of shame. My soba was miserable in it and I knew I needed something she was more comfortable in if she had to wear it for two weeks. This is a great solution- however - I ordered a M and it does not fit her properly. It’s too short length wise. She is 11 inches around her chest and 13 inches long. She is very small weight wise so I didn’t want to opt for the L and I knew the length on the S would be too small... so I ordered the M and I cut slits on all the parts where her legs meet her body to make her more comfortable. If only this was 2 inches longer! Regardless she likes this more than the cone and for the price I can’t complain. The material is decent and the Velcro keeps it securely on.
