This was a life saver. My cat hated it and it took her all day to learn how to walk in it but I didn’t care. It kept her from messing with her wound! A cone didn’t work for her. She went crazy and would get it off.The only negative is the Velcro is super strong so if it gets attached to the plain fabric it would pull the loose threads a lot. But overall I’d buy this again. I rescued this cat and so she was semi friendly at the time of her spay. The cone was making her almost hurt herself in the kennel,so I rush shopped this and it is well made but my cat who is skinnier than she should be because she was abandoned,was able to slip out twice and left it in the litter box and peed on it lol. So she only weighed 7 pounds but was long. So I bought this size and because she was undernourished,she was able to slip out. But I think more sizes/length combos could be made for such situations. Mimi was spayed and had a very rough time wearing a cone. There was no way she was going to wear it for 2 weeks!On the first day I found the Cat Professional Recovery Suit on Petsserect. Very inexpensive.She didn't like it at first, but adjusted to it in one day. It fits really well. She's 6 pounds, so hers is a medium size.
