we bought this for our kitten after her spay surgery. she was allergic to the internal stitches used (the vet said she sees an allergy once every 5 years!) and also managed to get her cone off every time we put it on, so this suit was a great way to keep her comfortable and away from her healing wound.after the first one fit so well, we decided to order another, in the exact same size, so that she didn't have to wear a dirty suit (the allergic reaction was causing the incision site to bleed). we noticed the head space on the second one was a little bigger than the first, but figured it wasn't something she could get out of, because of the arm holes and Velcro on top.we were completely wrong, and she ended up walking out of the 2nd suit while we were gone for 30 minutes and licking the incision open a bit at the top. it made a hard recovery process even harder, but thankfully she's OK now after lots of love and healing time. I even made her a little cotton pad to keep the medication we were prescribed on the wound.bottom line - this suit was a godsend until it wasn't. and if you do what we did, make absolutely sure there's no loose components to the suit before putting it on.★★★★★★★★★By csens
I purchased a pink suit and the grey suit. The grey suit is holding up well with no issues and my cat loves it compared to the cone. The pink suit is falling apart literally at the seams. I don't sew, so I had to duct tape the torn seams. I find new threads dangling daily where the suit is falling apart. I will simply have to throw the pink suit away after the 10 days use. What a shame and it looks so adorable on my cat.My two cats weight 7.4 lbs and 7.8 lbs and the Medium fits perfect. They can use the litter box and nothing gets on the suit.★★★★★★★★★By D D
I highly recommend this suit.My cat is very small and the smallest cone I could find did not work well for her. She could slip out with enough effort. The times she didn’t slip it, It made her very uncoordinated, It was too heavy for her neck, and made her vomit. The second day I bought a calming cloud collar which she had a better reaction to; she had more coordination and was overall happier BUT she could still reach the surgery site. It was a small deterrent I think, but ultimately she could still reach. So finally I ordered this and it was great! Full coordination and mobility, no pressure on the neck, complete protection of the incision area. They can still use the litter box in this suit. I wish I had had this from the beginning.
