As you can see an XL was a purrfect size for my kitty. The funniest part is the total dramatization from him when we first put it on. It was as if he turned into a paralyzed goat falling over stiffly to his side. However after a few hours he was able to move around. It was great that I never had to worry about when he used the litter box. I bought this for my cat who we just recently developed a food allergy which led to licking his belly to the point of it. Being raw. We switched foods, and that helped ALOT, but he was still licking a few of the bigger raw spots, and I needed something that would allow him to heal and prevent him from licking the same spots and not allowing them to heal. I have a bigger cat, (15 lbs) and the large fits perfectly. Its snug but not tight at all. Very easy to put on, which was a concern of mine. This is made out of the thinnest fabric. I don't see how anyone else's cat didn't do what mine did within hours, which is bite right out of it. If your cat is going to bite her stomach, this suit will not stop her. She'll just bite through the suit and then pull and bite until it's hanging off her neck and you have to pull it off completely. If your cat is so laid back that she won't bite her stitches, I don't see why you'd need the suit anyways. Complete waste of money.★★★★★★★★★By Bibliophile
