My cat had a small scratch that she kept licking to the point she makes it worse. I had her in this and she is comfy and it doesn’t hinder her ability to go potty or eat, but she gets super docile and doesn’t act herself (which is normal of cats when restricted). My only complaint is that my cat can take this thing off no matter what I do. I was impressed with how nicely this suit is made. The fabric is very soft and all seams are enclosed. It is advertised for protecting abdominal wounds and it would work perfectly for that. Unfortunately, I was trying it for my cat who has a spot on the upper chest. The collar is stretchy and the upper chest can become exposed, and I went with another alternative (a collar).
