I bought this for my baby for after her spay as well as an e-collar. So far this is working out well. I got a medium for my 5.9 lb female which fits well without pulling on her belly. I have no need to tighten the neck string and have it as loose as possible as she hasn’t tried to remove it at all. She got used to it quickly and seems comfortable. I did get an e-collar just in case but haven’t needed it so far. She can eat, drink, and use the potty without any issue. I would definitely recommend this for after spay! I don’t think it will last forever but since I only need it for 2 weeks I would definitely buy it again. A couple loose strings after washing but nothing to be worried about. I bought this because I was having success with the Suitical recovery suit with my 4.5 month old kitten after being spayed and wanted a second option to switch between. This one doesn't measure up at all. The material is itchy and thin. The velcro closure made me so nervous that I would catch her hair in it. It wasn't long enough (I got a size small since she is only just over 4lbs). Took it right off and stuck with the suitical onesie. Much better fit, material, and snap closures. If you're considering this, also know that my kitty doesn't move around much in these and I think it's because the fabric rubs against her wound, so i only put it on her to sleep and she wears the cone during the day.★★★★★★★★★By Stephanie
I noticed that some of these suits have an elastic pull at the neck. Now I know why! The suit was the right length for my cat but way too loose. She was able to get out of it in less than a day, and then I couldn't keep it on her, even when I used binder clips and other random things to try and make it fit.
