After ten days of wear, I finally took my kitten out of her suit, and I already miss how adorable she looked in it. This is a MUCH kinder and more comfortable alternative than the cone, and one I painfully waited two days for arrival after she came home from spay - a quick purchase after seeing her violently throw herself around to escape the scary cone on her head. This is a game changer, and honestly, something I’m annoyed that the Vet didn’t encourage from the start. Start by putting the head and front paws in first and then move onto back legs. TWO POINTS OF IMPORTANCE: You must remove suit to keep an eye on the incision daily to make sure it’s healing well, and keep cone or toy handy if your kitty may bite or scratch during removal. Opening the Velcro triggered my little one every time, and it was helpful to have a string toy handy to distract between removing back legs so I could see her belly and get suit back on. Take your time. Use cone or toy distraction, and it’s much more bearable. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the suit received came with the string around neck, which I was prepared for thanks to other reviewers. Either cut it off or tuck in the little neck hole so that the string is never visible or reachable. Serious hazard if left dangling, and seller should go back to the suits without. My 7lb kitty fit a size M perfectly, and I will absolutely buy again in future if she or any of my babies every have surgery again!★★★★★★★★★By Petsserect Customer
This is perfect for my little kitty. She just got fixed yesterday and slipped out of her cone 3 times so I’m glad that I ordered this prior to. I have other pets as well so this is just an added layer of protection. She tried licking herself through the outfit so out of concern when I caught her doing it I checked and her saliva never penetrated through. I’m also happy that I was able to to run errands with peace knowing that this outfit also allows her to use the bathroom without help. Thoroughly pleased with this purchase so far.Downfall: My kitten is only 3 months so I ordered a small. If this were available in an extra small it would’ve been better. Not really...My kitty Sophie has been licking anxiously due to a new kitty we brought home. She'll lick the hot spot spray or itch stick right off. We tried a human baby onesie-that didn't work. No denying it, my Sophie is a chunk. Truly a size you can't buy off the rack. She's at least 15 lb. Ridiculously cute, my little pink piggy. The stretch in this is what I was counting on and it came through! It fits her huge neck, I didn't even have to cinch it! Only thing is just because you're o-beast doesn't mean you're taller proportionally... The onesie for her was a little too long, and her tail would end up through a leg hole. She will squirm herself out of it if left alone for the whole day, so it's important to buy the right size. We have two colors - the pink piglet and the purple princess.
