This was a life saver for my cat after traumatizing and painful major abdominal surgery. It is very easy to put on even on an injured cat. I liked the elastic at all openings and the adjustable draw string at the collar. The fabric is soft and stretches. It is best to buy two recovery suits to be able to wash and clean one over night. My cat hated the cone, could hardly do anything with it on, was hurting from the surgery and the cone was just extra misery. As soon as we got the recovery suit, we switched her into that instead and could tell a difference in her overall mood. She could still go to the bathroom in it, she was much more comfortable, and since she didn't know how to wear clothes it kept her from trying to run or jump which would have been bad for her stitches. She only got out of it once, but that was after a lot of cuddling and nestling in to get comfier and it just kept slowly creeping down. I tightened the neck part and it never came off again!
